Vocalist Danny Fields said, "Burning is about love and loss and the things we turn to when we lose that love. Love can start as something as beautiful as a rose, but it can also end in flames and leave behind only the ashes of what once was."Clay Cages is an alternative/indie rock band from Nashville, Tennessee.
Their upcoming release "The Lenses We See Life Through" is a concept EP about the change in a person's outlook on life throughout their lifetime - each song represents a different stage of life, progressing from birth until death.
This 5 track EP comes almost exactly a year after their debut EP "Tension," which Absolute Punk rated an 8/10 stars.
With musical influences ranging from post rock to classical to traditional hardcore, they bring a unique, yet accessible sound to the table.
