LA Kings Alumni Association to participate in charity hockey game March 17

The Los Angeles Kings Alumni Association and the Ventura County Fire Department Hockey Team will face-off this weekend in an effort to thank Fire Responders who aided in recent the Woolsey Fire.

The game takes places on March 17 at Simi Valley Iceoplex (131 W. Easy Street, Simi Valley, 93065). Game time is set for 12:15 p.m.

General admission tickets are $20 and all ticket sales for the event benefit the Ventura County Fire Department Widows, Orphans & Assistance Fund. For additional information, visit vcfdwoaf.org.

Among those expected to represent the LA Kings Alumni Association are: Daryl Evans, Derek Armstrong, Jaroslav Modry, Mark Hardy, Steve Heinze, Jamie Storr, Bernie Nicholls, Jay Wells, Tim Watters, and Peter Demers (trainer).

The Kings begin a five-game homestand on March 14 as the club hosts the Nashville Predators. Game time is 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on FOX Sports West and the LA Kings Audio Network.
