L.A. Clippers Foundation Invites Fans to Donate
and Provide Tickets for Local Youth Organizations

The L.A. Clippers Foundation announced today that the team will participate in the #GivingTuesday charitable movement on Nov. 29 for the third consecutive year.

The team will join with fans, season ticket-holders and local businesses to give Southern California children the opportunity to attend a Clippers game at STAPLES Center.

#GivingTuesday has become an annual charitable celebration that unites more than 10,000 organizations worldwide under the common purpose of giving back.

Along with a monetary donation, Clippers fans have the opportunity to give back by donating tickets to the L.A. Clippers Foundation, and the Foundation will utilize the tickets by bringing local youth organizations to STAPLES Center for Clippers games.

Last year, the Clippers Foundation and Clippers fans donated more than 3,100 tickets to local charitable youth organizations.

Anyone interested in participating in the Clippers #GivingTuesday initiative can visit Clippers.com/GivingTuesday or call (213) 204-2900 for package and donation information.

About #GivingTuesday
#GivingTuesday is a movement to celebrate and provide incentives to give. It will culminate with a global day of giving on November 29, 2016. This effort harnesses the collective power of a unique blend of partners— charities, families, businesses and individuals—to transform how people think about, talk about and participate in the giving season. #GivingTuesday will inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities, give back in better, smarter ways to the charities and causes they celebrate and help create a better world. #GivingTuesday will harness the power of social media to create a global moment that is dedicated to giving around the world.

Every day, we’ll make a positive difference to a child in L.A.

To meet this commitment, the L.A. Clippers Foundation will first understand their educational environments, from classroom to playground to living room, in communities across Southern California.

The greatest resource of the Clippers Foundation is inspiration, channeled from our players, organization and Clipper Nation. Our greatest tool is investment, through singular grants that set a new benchmark in actual funds and true transparency. Our greatest gift is mobilizing contribution and commitment from everyone we call Partner, including colleagues, corporate sponsors and the community at large.

In every way, our mission is to inspire a child to make a positive difference in their L.A.
