'Songs + Canciones 1'
"One of the things I enjoy most is dancing. When I have an opportunity to do so, I go dancing with my friends. It is the perfect excuse to have fun, a beautiful and energetic exercise so to speak. In this song I talk about what it means to dance, to strut around the dance floor, to look for love or a partner, or just let off some steam. The dance floor is always a place where we can reach an emotional and physical high; it's definitely a magical place for everyone." ~María del Pilar
In a love letter to Los Angeles, and most of all to the L.A. nightlife, we feature two underground dance clubs "A Club Called Rhonda" and Part Time Punks' "Punky Reggae Party". Here we see María Del Pilar's transformation through her adventures on the dancefloor to find her rhythm, love, and ultimately herself.
Filmed in a documentary style, we can quickly see the true emotions of what looking for love on the dancefloor feels like.
