SESAC Affiliates Receive Important Nominations to the Billboard Mexican Music Awards

SESAC LATINA AFFILIATES RECEIVE IMPORTANT NOMINATIONS IN THE 2013 BILLBOARD MEXICAN MUSIC AWARDS: SONG, ARTIST AND COMPOSER OF THE YEAR   Once again, SESAC Latina-affiliated artists have been selected as finalists in the annual Billboard Mexican Music Awards, earning nominations in many headline categories thanks to the outstanding quality of their work across various Regional Mexican music formats. The finalists for these awards are determined in the most objective way possible - airplay and sales statistics for Regional Mexican songs and albums released in the United States. SESAC Latina affiliates this year have earned nominations for Female Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Vocal Collaboration Song, Banda Song, Norteño Song, Duranguense/Grupero/Cumbia Song, and Songwriter of the Year.  In this last category, our finalist is Luciano Luna Díaz, whom Billboard just named the No.1 Latin Songwriter for the first half of 2013.
