Tequila Sisters spend time at the 67th Annual East Los Angeles Mexican Independence Day Parade

The Tequila Sisters step out onto the Exitos stage at the 67th Annual East Los Angeles Mexican Independence Day Parade on Sunday.
Being proud of their Hispanic heritage the four tequila sisters took part in the parade and stayed around to sign autographs and take pictures with fans.
"We couldn't be happier to be here," the Tequila Sisters said, "we are proud, we are so proud to be here. I think being around Hispanic people and being Mexican, everyone is just so supportive. They just really like us. We are getting a good response. We feel like family almost," they said.
The Tequila Sisters had so much fun at the parade, even in the tremendous heat.

"I would live to come to more. This is so much fun. This is actually our first (event)," the tequila sisters said, "it was a good first experience. But also, to be here celebrating Mexican Independence Day, is such a huge part of our lives because we are Mexican. We just feel honored to be here," they said.
Their father being from Mexico City and mother from Hermosillo they are the first generation born in the United States. They speak very little Spanish but are not opposed to learning to speak it fluently.
"In the future we are planing on all learning (Spanish). Rosetta Stone is in our future," the tequila sisters said.
On the Exitos stage the Tequila Sisters were announced to be the stars of a reality show soon to air on the TV Guide channel.

The show will revolve around the Tequila Sisters and their family.
"We are trying to bring in the young, Hispanic (audience). Hopefully families. Yes, it's a family show, so families," the Tequila Sisters said, "we would live to appeal just to everybody but definitely our people. I hope that they support us," they said.
The show will be about the parents of the sisters raising their daughters.
"We feel that as Mexicans we are a little bit more traditional in that way. We are very family oriented," the Tequila Sisters said, "we are together all the time. We do family dinners all the time. We are very close," they said.
As the show will revolve around their family it will be a show that will be able to be seen by the whole family.
"It's a clean show. There's not going to be a bunch of dirty talk or anything weird like that," the Tequila Sisters said.
The show is meant to be relatable to everyday life.
"We have everyday problems. We are a normal family and we have normal problems just like everyone else. I think alot of people are going to relate to that," the Tequila Sisters said, "We want everyone to grow up with us as we grow up," they said.
