SESAC Latina-affiliated artists are winners in marquee categories in the 14th annual Latin Grammy®
SESAC Latina's talented affiliates won big in the marquee categories in the 14th edition of the Latin Grammy® awards. The awards ceremony was telecast to 80 countries by Univisión on November 21, from the Mandalay Bay Special Events Center in Las Vegas. SESAC Latina's artists emerged victorious in such categories as Album of the Year, Best New Artist, Best Urban Performance, Best Norteño Album, and Best Engineered Album.
It's an overwhelming affirmation of the level of respect and admiration garnered by SESAC Latinaartists. The SESAC-affiliated winners represent a diverse mix of specialties - in addition to being songwriters, they're singers, musicians, arrangers and producers. Their work has deservedly won the respect, trust and applause of their voting peers in LARAS (Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences).
As the fastest-growing performing rights organization in the world, SESAC Latina played a major role before, during and after the official ceremonies, with performances by affiliated artists Gaby Moreno, Draco Rosa, Aleks Syntek, Banda Carnaval, Calibre 50 and Rafa Arcaute, among others.
