Los Angeles, CA (June 24, 2014) - Cuban songstress Danay Suárez, the new member of the Universal Music Latin Entertainment family, is one of the special guests for the renowned Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) this July in New York.

Danay is one of the most gifted artists that have emerged out of Cuba. Her unique voice and sophisticated singing style which blends Hip-Hop, Jazz, Reggae, and other music genres, has turned her into one of the most promising international artists, after earning praise from critics and audiences alike during her previous European tours.

The LAMC is a major conference geared towards the marketing of Spanish-language alternative music. It showcases what it considers the best in Latin music and the exciting fresh sounds coming out of rock, hip-hop and electronica scenes. This year the LAMC is celebrating their 15th anniversary.

Danay will be making her debut at this year's LAMC, headlining two showcases in staple venues in Manhattan. The first show is scheduled for Wednesday July 9th at Mercury Lounge and two days later, Friday July 11th, at SOBs performing a more intimate acoustic set.

Currently, Danay Suárez is promoting her latest hit single "Flores", a melodic reggae infused track that speaks about resistance through the use of inner peace and love to combat any war or change that people are going through in life. The video is set to be filmed in Miami within the next few weeks.

Recently Danay Suarez signed an exclusive global contract with Universal Music Latin Entertainment and will be releasing a deluxe version of her album "Polvo de la Humedad" in August, which includes new videos and two new tracks, "Flores" and "Wake Up".
