After the long awaited release of Francisca Valenzuela's third studio album, Tajo Abierto, due Tuesday September 9th, the Chilean-Northamerican singer songwriter is ready to kick off this new era in her career. The Tajo Abierto Tour will officially start in Spain, where Francisca is set to play five shows.

Her Spanish fans will be able to get the first live taste of Tajo Abierto at Lemon Pop Fest (September 11th, in Murcia) and DCODE Festival (September 13th, in Madrid), where Francisca will share the line up with artists such as The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Beck, La Roux, Jake Bugg and Bombay Bicycle Club. Plus, Francisca will do a free showcase series at Fnac record stores in Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, where she'll play acoustic versions of the songs from her new album.

During her trip through Spain, Fran will also record a special show for the Spanish TV show "Los Conciertos de Radio3" of channel L2 of TVE, in which she, along with her band, will give a sneak peek at the songs from Tajo Abierto.

The next stop of the Tajo Abierto Tour will be Mexico City, where Francisca will celebrate the release of her new album with a show at the Lunario of the Auditorio Nacional next September 25th.
