With the smart-mouth Batman, the upbeat WyldStyle and the wise-cracking wizard Gandalf, at the start, the game was set.
Although, right out of the box it just looks like another Lego set.
The tutorials were something different from other tutorials, it wasn't just getting use to the controls, it was building the pieces to play with.
Surprisingly, since I stayed away from any reviews/previews of the game so I could be surprised when I played it, the first level/dimension traveled to is "The Wizard of Oz."
Getting use to the controls was easy, since they are the same as playing any Lego or action game. The cool part is getting to move the pieces around to one of the four sections of the game board to activate some different abilities, I'm sure there is more to come.
I'm curious to find out how many characters can be on the game board at the same time. (So far three characters and one batmobile)
Moving around the levels is easy and there seems to be obstacles that take some combining of skills, which is great because not one character will be able to beat an entire level on its own.
As in any Lego game, collecting bricks and filling up the hero meter is still an objective.
The wicked witch of the west is the first villain faced.
Right before facing her, players encounter Dorothy, the cowardly lion, the tin man, the scarecrow and toto the dog.

I've just started to play so this review is incomplete, but so far the game is 5 out of 5 Trophies.
The story is unique and I can't wait to discover more of it. I'm enjoying being able to move characters to one of the 4 places on the game board and exploring what they do.
