Los Angeles Kings forward Milan Lucic has been suspended for one game, without pay, for roughing Arizona Coyotes defenseman Kevin Connauton during NHL game No. 718 in Glendale on Jan. 23, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced on Jan. 24.
The incident occurred at 6:55 of the third period. Lucic was assessed a minor penalty for roughing and a game misconduct.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement and, based on his average annual salary, Lucic will forfeit $32,258.06. The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.
