Successful performances at SXSW 2016
The highly anticipated second single by Locos for Juana, "The Cure" featuring reggae star, Collie Buddz, landed on march 18 on iTunes and all digital platforms.
After four months of jammed-packed performances, a strong promotional tour run, sold-out music festivals, and the release of their debut single "Mueve, Mueve" with over 400 thousand VEVO views, "The Cure" produced by Locos por Juana and featuring Collie Buddz consecrates the bilingual ensemble as an established band on the world-music scene.
The band's signature hybrid sound, a blend of Caribbean, Latin and American rhythms, takes a step into an exploratory and colorful vibration to which American/ Bermudan Collie Buddz is a strong contributor.
Their collaborative work on "The Cure" combines a diversification of flavors incorporating Reggae and the band's own hometown swagger to the song, recorded between Miami, FL and Buddz' native Bermuda.
In anticipation of their exclusive world premiere of the music video for "The Cure" on March 31 Locos por Juana's lyric video for "The Cure" will be featured on VEVO's homepage starting today and will receive 13 million annotations starting March 23.
On its release date the record is also featured in the Hot Tracks on the iTunes main page.

Collin Patrick Harper, better known for his stage name Collie Buddz and most noted for his chart topping single "Come around" connected with Locos por Juana at Revolution Live, a concert venue in Ft. Lauderdale during Buddz' last tour with Soja where the idea of a collaboration gave birth to "The Cure."
An institution in their hometown of Miami, GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominees Locos por Juana, have performed together and headlined shows for more than a decade.
Their SXSW 2016 participation which will end with a live performance on March 19 has been more than a success including playing as headliners to such an energetic crossover audience at the TOMS ONE x ONE event and being part of the 35 Latin Bands To Watch by Paste Magazine.
