After successful runs in New York and Boston, Brian Ackley’s acclaimed alien invasion feature "Alienated" is getting a theatrical release in Los Angeles.
The film hits the Acme theatre in Hollywood on April 16 – running a week until April 23.
"Alienated," currently screening in Boston and available On Demand across the country, tells the story of a married couple that is forced to confront their fatal relationship issues while on the brink of a possible alien abduction.
The film stars veteran actors George Katt, Jen Burry and features the last onscreen performance by prolific character actor and comedian Taylor Negron, who unfortunately passed early this year to cancer. He was 57 years old.
The film is produced by Princeton Holt and his company One Way or Another Productions (in association with Fades 2 Black Media Group).
Holt is a former Massachusetts resident and student. He took film production courses at Atlantic Union College in Lancaster, MA and at Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, where the company’s first office was located nearly a decade ago. This is his 20th feature film as a producer.
Alienated, after winning 13 film festival awards including 3 for Best Feature, a Best Director Award for writer/director Brian Ackley and multiple Best Actor awards, was acquired for distribution by Gravitas Ventures.
