Offering four-course progressive dining experiences in downtown Los Angeles and Venice Beach beginning April 2016
San Francisco's renowned boutique culinary experience company is pleased to announce their expansion to Los Angeles.
Avital has grown to four neighborhoods in San Francisco (Mission, North Beach, Haight Ashbury, and Union Square) throughout the past five years, and will offer four-course culinary experiences in the Downtown and Venice neighborhoods beginning April 2016.
"Imagine sitting at the chef's table, where you experience the excitement of what's going on behind the scenes, with a warm welcome from the chef and culinary experts. You hear their stories, and are drawn into their vision. That's how I'd describe what guests experience when dining with Avital," Avital Ungar, founder of Avital, said. "Our four course progressive dining experiences are built by locals for locals. Our goal is that someone who lives in Venice comes on our Venice experience and learns something about her own neighborhood – exploring her own backyard through curious eyes."
An expert local guide leads intimate groups (of up to 12) through four courses, stopping between restaurants to learn more about the unique art, architecture, and historical aspects that make each neighborhood unique.
The dining experience is three hours long, and begins with two appetizers, followed by an entree, and concludes with dessert.
Similar to a prix fixe menu, tickets are $84 each, with the option to add an alcohol pairing for an additional $18.
Partnering with restaurants like Dudley Market and Nickel Diner, Avital will offer guests unique behind the scenes experiences throughout Downtown Los Angeles and Venice.
Avital has developed relationships with companies like Google and Salesforce to create exclusive customized team building and off-site events throughout San Francisco, and plans to offer the same dining experiences in Los Angeles for private groups.
