The film follows controversial hedge fund titan Bill Ackman as he puts $1 billion on the line and ultimately joins forces with Latina activist Julie Contreras in a crusade to expose Herbalife as a massive pyramid scheme. The battle pitting Herbalife against Ackman and Contreras plays out in the media, in board rooms, and on the streets in Braun's stirring picture of the American Dream gone wrong.
