Led by the well-known director Mr. Tsai Ming-liang, co-produced by Jaunt China and HTC VIVE, "The Deserted," Chinese name: Home at Lanre Temple, the first Chinese VR film ambitioning to make a difference on a global film competition, will premiere at Venice International Film Festival, which, for the first time this year, includes VR film starring role in the competition.
Using Jaunt ONE for shooting and Jaunt Cloud Render System for post processing, "The Deserted" will enter into a rival with the world's top VR works competing for the Best VR and the Best VR Story.

This time, from a VR perspective, Tsai attempts to create a unique narrative style in the conflict between humanistic art and innovation and technology.
