Thisfunktional Anime Gift Ideas

With Anime Expo over, Crunchyroll Expo done and the Los Angeles Anime Film Festival coming up, here's a few gift ideas for the Anime, Manga and video game person.

These are a mix of some of my favorite items from different places on the internet.

"Pokemon the Series XYZ, Set 1" on DVD is now available through Viz Media, Amazon and other retailers. This 24 episode set continues the story of Ash and Pikachu in the Kalos League. With a $24.99 price it's not a bad buy at all. (Don't forget to continue the journey on the Pokemon GO App as it's getting some major updates.)

"The Art of My Little Pony: The Movie" is also available through Viz Media. With the movie coming to theaters soon Anime fans can catch some behind the scenes in this hard cover book. At $39.99 this book is an essential must have for My Little Pony and Anime fans.

Explore the making of My Little Pony: The Movie with exclusive behind-the-scenes material from the creators of the film. This gorgeous hardcover volume includes concept sketches, notes, character designs, and pages and pages of magical, full-color artwork accompanied by commentary from the director, screenwriter, and character designers. A must-have for all My Little Pony fans.

"Sword Art Online: The Movie Oracle Scale" is now available for pre order on Estimated to be released in December, for those who missed it in theaters, released through Fanthom entertainment, it's a fantastic addition and the $77.98 price tag isn't bad for SAO fans.

"Dragon Ball Super Part 2" will be released on Blu-ray through Continuing the new telling of the Dragon Ball story, this movie is a must have for any and all Anime fans. Estimated to be released on Oct. 3, it is already available for pre-order at $33.74. This set will include episodes 14-26 in both English and Japanese.
