Apple Watch Series 5 Review

The newest edition of the Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Series 5, is now on the scene.

But what’s different about it, and is it worth the upgrade?

It comes as no surprise that, as always, Apple is at the forefront of the smartwatch game.

The Apple Watch Series 5 may look pretty much the same as the Series 4 but remains the best smartwatch on the market.

If you’re always on the go, whether you’re running to meetings, or running at the gym, the Apple Watch Series 5 may just become your new best friend.

New Features
The most notable new feature of the Apple Watch Series 5 is the Always-On display.

Instead of you needing to touch the screen, or dramatically flip your arm, the screen will always show the time.

You can customize the clock face to your style and preference.

You can change the color, as well as add widgets for weather and timers, etc.

Since the style of the watches is generally the same, this display gives you the ability to make it your own.

The Always-On display does not show notifications.

You will need to tap the screen to see incoming emails, social notifications, etc.

It makes sense as the watch would have no way to know if you’d seen the notifications or not.

Still, the new display makes it easier to glance down and check the time quickly and is extremely helpful.

Battery Life
Since the display is always on, an obvious concern is the battery life.

Surely that would drain the battery quickly, and it was a big issue when the watch was first released.

Fortunately, this is not the case.

With the implementation of watch OS 6.1, the battery life is impressive on this watch.

You can get 18 hours of life out of a single charge, which is more than enough to get you through the day
