Cazador releases new song raising money for musicians affected by Covid-19

CAZADOR RELEASE NEW SINGLE TO BENEFIT MUSICIANS AFFECTED BY COVID-19

Boston's CAZADOR have released a new single entitled "Eat At Jumbo's."

The track is being released with the goal of having all profits be used in order to help musicians affected by COVID-19.

The band said, "While we all wait for the world to overcome the global COVID-19 pandemic and lament the impact it is having on the current state of music and other purveyors of art, we as artists ourselves, wanted give some hope to those affected and find a way to support not only artists in our community, but the world have the privilege of inhabiting. To do our part in helping the world at large cope with the suffering of coronavirus, we're issuing an unreleased B-side from our latest LP, Failure to Thrive, titled ‘Eat at Jumbo's.’ Originally conceived as an ode to our favorite departed Somerville (MA) vegan-centric eatery, we are now releasing the track as a single with all proceeds and donations from our Bandcamp page and website being given to support the Boston Music Maker Relief Fund (therecordco.org/relief), organized by the fantastic folks at The Record Co. They have set up a donation fund to assist Boston-area musicians whose situations are particularly vulnerable due to this pandemic. Specifically, they are providing financial relief to Boston music makers and freelancers experiencing lost income as the result of performance cancellations and lost opportunities related to COVID-19.
(Here’s TRC's mission statement for the fund below: ‘Due to widespread event cancellations, music makers are struggling. The Record Co., a 501c3 nonprofit community music organization, has established a fund to provide financial relief to Boston area music makers experiencing lost income as the result of performance cancellations related to coronavirus and COVID-19. To learn more about the fund and apply or donate, please visit therecordco.org/relief.’ - The Record Co.)
Words can't convey how much we're empathizing with everyone during this period, and we hope you are safe and as secure as possible in this time of crisis. With this single, our goal is being able to bring the heavy music community together to help make a difference and offer some semblance of hope for not just ourselves, but the beautiful scenes around us at home in Boston."
