Will Dennis' road trip dramedy VANILLA to be released on April 28

Following its recent festival run, Gravitas Ventures is set to release Will Dennis' road trip dramedy “VANILLA” on April 28.

“VANILLA” is a fun, character-driven comedy about two strangers who end up on a three-day road trip from New York to New Orleans together, after working out a deal to sell a van cross country.

Dennis' debut feature film also stars Kelsea Bauman-Murphy, Aparna Nancherla (Netflix's "Master of None", HBO's "Crashing") and Johnny Sibilly (FX's "Pose").

A freewheeling comedian, determined to save her family business, invites an uptight entrepreneur on a road trip to sell a van with a complicated history.

Calling it a first date, they establish road rules that include a dance collaboration, separate sleeping quarters, and French pastries.

Romance ignites on their three-day trip.

As they discover each other's quirks and secrets, they must decide if their new connection is worth more than the van.
