Award-winning filmmaker/director Lisa France has partnered with Texas Latinx author Mary Romasanta to pitch a supernatural thriller trilogy inspired by true events.

The trilogy follows Emma, cursed before birth and gifted with the ability to discern spirits.

Since childhood, she has exposed demonic entities, battling malevolent forces tied to haunted houses, cursed objects, and the darkest corners of the human psyche.

Blending horror, psychological thriller, and supernatural suspense, the trilogy features three gripping films based on Romasanta’s novels:

Infestation
When Emma’s father—a pastor—moves his family into a decrepit house across from a cemetery, he unknowingly places them in the path of an ancient and malevolent force. Only six year old Emma can sense the dark secrets lurking within, forcing her to face a horror beyond her years.

Oscar
At seventeen, Emma confronts a sinister puppet infiltrating her father’s church. As its eerie influence spreads, she must uncover its origins before it consumes her family and the children of the congregation.

Avīci Sagga
At twenty-nine, Emma’s past refuses to stay buried. When the ghosts of ex-lovers torment her in violent nightmares, she turns to a dream scientist for answers. But as she delves deeper, she uncovers shocking truths that force her to battle the darkness threatening to consume her.
