Produced by Matt Costa, This Track Kicks Off MADELINE ROSENE’s New Project, Love and Algorhythms

Indie-pop singer-songwriter Madeline Rosene announces the release of her latest single, "Fish Astronaut," available on all platforms now. This introspective and ethereal track serves as the debut single from her highly anticipated project, Love and Algorhythms.

"Fish Astronaut" delves into themes of alienation, longing, and transformation, exploring what it means to feel out of place yet destined for something greater. Madeline’s evocative storytelling and cinematic soundscape, featuring piano, vocoder, synth bass, and guitar, capture a sense of yearning and self-discovery.

The single was produced by Matt Costa, the acclaimed artist and songwriter who reached out to collaborate with Madeline after hearing her heartfelt cover of his song "Cold December." Not only did Costa produce the track, but he also directed its stunning music video, shot entirely on 35mm film in Costa Mesa, California at Noguchi Garden.

The visual’s analog aesthetic beautifully complements the song’s otherworldly atmosphere and emotional depth.

"Matt Costa’s music was a huge part of my life growing up, so to have him not only produce one of my songs but also champion my work is surreal,” Madeline shared. “It’s a reminder that sometimes your idols really do become your collaborators."
