For awhile now I have been wanting to do something more creative, so here you have it, Issue 1 of ThisFunktional Mini-Magazine (only 14 pages) with less pages than what I was producing the main magazine as.
How did this come about, well I have been dealing with some personal issues and illness and in so have been trying to have an outlet for creativity. I also had been doing research on a story I was working on, which ended up being the main story for this. Photographer Elizabeth Waterman inspired me to do a story with much more depth than I was expecting to, and in such it deserved a much more grand presentation.
