Jesus Figueroa, @Thisfunktional of ThisFunktional.com, talks with playwright-actress Natasha Nua about one-woman play THE MATE MONOLOGUES.

A chaotic, comedic, deeply personal one-woman show about a young artist traveling the world to try to find herself with the sacred and powerful south american drink: yerba mate.

The experience starts before the play for those who choose to arrive early as guest are treated to a traditional mate circle.

Guests get to enjoy some cold-brewed mate, empanadas, and authentic Argentinian ice cream.

THE MATE MONOLOGUES takes the guests through a comedy about identity, exile, belonging and yerba mate.
Those whom have ever felt lost, this one-woman odyssey is for you.
