From Country Music and an Elvis Tribute Performer to a Queens Cover Band, Plus Family Fun and a Spectacular 20-minute Fireworks Finale, The Queen Mary is Set to Host its Biggest 4th of July Celebration
The Queen Mary is preparing to light up the Long Beach skyline with its annual Fourth of July Celebration. This year's patriotic celebration, Cheers to 250 Years, commemorates America's 250th birthday while also celebrating the historic liner's 90th anniversary of her Maiden Voyage, offering an unforgettable afternoon and evening of live entertainment, immersive themed experiences, family-friendly activities, delicious food and drinks, and one of Southern California's most spectacular waterfront fireworks displays.
Throughout the ship, guests can explore a variety of themed experiences inspired by American history and the Queen Mary's timeless elegance, including an Old Hollywood party, First-Class Lounge, Glow Barcade, Kids Summer Festival, Barn in the USA, Queen's Tea Party, Soulful Secret Speakeasy, and more. The evening culminates with a dazzling 20-minute fireworks spectacular over Long Beach Harbor, the longest fireworks display in the event's history.
"There's no better place to celebrate Independence Day than aboard the Queen Mary," said Steve Caloca, Managing Director of the Queen Mary. "As we celebrate America's 250th birthday and the Queen Mary's 90th anniversary, we're excited to welcome guests aboard for an unforgettable day filled with entertainment, history, and one of the most spectacular fireworks shows on the West Coast."
Festivities begin at 3:00 p.m., with live entertainment and themed experiences taking place throughout the afternoon and evening before the highly anticipated fireworks finale. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy everything the celebration has to offer.
General admission tickets start at $75 for adults and $45 for children ages 4-11 years. VIP admission is $225 per person for ages 4 and older and includes additional access to the Grand Salon Buffet, the Verandah Grill, Britannia Salon, Secret Speakeasy, and premium fireworks viewing. Hotel packages are also available. On-site parking is very limited and available at $50 per vehicle. Carpooling and ride share services are encouraged.
