An emotional drama that displays the power of imagination, the ache of loneliness and the fragile line between fantasy and reality. When a 10-year-old boy is left alone in a hotel room, his imagination becomes his only companion…but child’s play without limits takes him into an increasingly desperate spiral. Led by a remarkable performance from young actor Austin Thomas, CAPTAIN MILO explores the subtle trauma of emotional neglect through the eyes of a child whose imagination becomes both refuge and danger. The film follows Milo, a lonely child who escapes into elaborate fantasy worlds filled with comic book heroes, games, and imaginary adventures while his mother is away for the day. But as the hours stretch into night, Milo’s imagination begins to blur dangerously with reality, forcing him to confront the loneliness he has worked so hard to avoid.
