EMMY-AWARD WINNING LAURALEE BELL STARS IN THE THRILLER
Jackie Blanchard, (Lauralee Bell, ‘”The Young and the Restless,”) has a perfect life – a house in the suburbs, a loving husband, Karl, (Martin Copping) and a beautiful daughter, Mikaya.
But something changes in her husband and for the first time in their marriage, Jackie suspects Karl is lying to her.
One day Jackie follows him and sees him enter an apartment with another woman.
She vents to her best friend Valerie, (Lauren Plaxco), who pushes Jackie to divorce him, but Jackie wants proof before she files for divorce so she can “make him pay….”:
Valerie tells Jackie she’s heard about a local underground business that might be able to help.
Jackie reluctantly agrees to meet the business owner at her office on the outskirts of town.
Once inside the hidden office, in a building under construction, she meets Hannah, (Lydia Look), who reveals that her company specializes in making life a living hell for cheating husbands and their mistresses, delivering the necessary evidence of their affairs.
Jackie doesn’t want anyone physically hurt.
Hannah assures Jackie that the company will take care of everything.
Days later, Hannah informs Jackie she’s found the evidence and she can now confront her husband.
Jackie is anxious for the whole affair to be exposed and is waiting for the material so she can hand Karl divorce papers.
But before she can follow through with her plan, Karl and his mistress turn up dead.
Jackie admits to the authorities that she hired Hannah to help her prove her husband was cheating but she never asked her to hurt anyone.
However, the police cannot find any trace of the “Mistress Hunter.”
The office Jackie visited is now empty, but there is surveillance footage of Jackie lurking around the apartment building where she first spotted her husband.
The police now suspect she was making the whole thing up and believe a jealous Jackie might actually be the killer.
With the police investigating her, Jackie’s only hope is tracking down Hannah herself.
When she finally finds her, she also finds out the identity of the real killer.
But before she can give the evidence to the police, the killer confronts Jackie – putting her and her young daughter in jeopardy.
