"Avengers: Infinity War" concentrates on the superheroes in the Marvel Universe which are spectacular and tries to repair enough of the comic book story to satisfy movie and comic fans.
This culmination of Marvel movies dishes out magnificent action scenes, a mixture of humor and drama and climaxes to one of the most emotional and philosophical endings of any Marvel movie.
Following the success of "Black Panther," was no easy task, but with such a high caliber cast, put into one of the most remarkable and significant story arcs of the Marvel Universe, there was no better way to keep up and surpass the epic nature of these movies.
That does not mean that "Infinity Wars" isn't without its faults, but the family friendly comedy, although it can disrupt from the main story, can serve as a relief from the intensity of the rest of the story.
There is no picking a central character in this movie as even the supporting cast is thrust into the forefront of this.
Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, does not steal the show, but rather Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Vision, played by Paul Bettany, which provide some of the most impactful and intense scenes in the movie.
Thanos and Gamora, played by Zoe Saldana, provide some incredible moments, but still are overshadowed by the brilliance of Scarlet Witch and Vision.
Dr. Strange, payed by Benedict Cumberbatch, and Tony Stark/Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr., have some jaw-dropping moments, and are matched by the introduction of each of the Avengers as they assemble to take on the biggest challenge yet.
Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, despite being a crucial part of the story still felt like one of the problems of the movie as was Bruce Banner, played by Mark Ruffalo.
Spider-man, played by Tom Holland, comes in as just the same wasted character which was in "Avengers: Civil War" and "Spider-man: Homecoming."
Even with the bad parts, this movie is enjoyable in theaters, since audiences will be taken by the action and will be cheering throughout as their favorite superheroes are taken on the ride of their lives.
