Actor Marshal Hilton talks with Jesus Figueroa, @ThisFunktional of ThisFunktional.com, about his role in “A Clear Shot,” on digital and DVD June 2 through Uncork’d Entertainment.
“A ClearShot,” based on the true story of the 1991 Good Guys Electronics Store siege in Sacramento, California, is a timely telling of a tense situation between four gunmen and the Sacramento Police Department.
Hilton plays senior detective Kappy a detective which starts off as an obstacle for negotiator Rick Gomez (Mario Van Peebles), but the character grows to be an ally.
Hilton talks about seeing the true events happen through a live broadcast and being rattled by what he saw happening and how shocked he was to see that this movie script came to him with a clip of the 1991 Good Guys Electronics Store siege.
As with everyone else, Hilton is dealing with the safer-at-home orders and taking the opportunity to dive into his photography, which he also hopes to share with the world as time passes.
Listen to the full interview and make sure to watch “A Clear Shot” on digital and DVD on June 2.
