KCON (kconusa.com) announced the interactive programming events set for KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER that will bring fans closer to their favorite artists, in addition to the final lineup of 32 artists.
KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER, a weeklong event from June 20-26, is a first of its kind delivering its unique experience virtually to living rooms across the planet.
The weeklong, 24/7, concert and interactive programming event will offer a highly immersive experience using the latest VR and AR technology to bring fans watching worldwide the option to be even closer to their favorite stars.

Fans will be more than just audience members in the virtual arena, newly created for each night through state-of-the-art technology; they can participate in and influence the show, for example participating in live fan polls to decide the next song performed live on the broadcast.
Fans will also be able to interact and communicate with the artists in real time via an AR live chat board and artists will create new fan songs based on the messages they receive.
KCON:TACT 2020 SUMMER is a marathon stream of live and pre-taped content will air seven full days in a row combining a mix of live performances from K-pop’s biggest artists, meet and greet sessions, influencer led panels, and more.

The global celebration of Korean culture and pop music is set to take place June 20-26 from Mnet’s world class television production studio in Seoul, South Korea with a portion of all proceeds going to UNESCO’s Learning Never Stops campaign to help children impacted by COVID-19 around the world to continue their education.

Over the years the star-studded concerts have featured a combination of the top names like BTS, MONSTA X, TWICE and rising stars.
Last year’s breakout acts included LOONA, ATEEZ and ITZY.
