Video Interview: @ThisFunktional talks with Netflix' BEAUTY IN BLACK's Actress talks about her role in season 2

Jesus Figueroa, @Thisfunktional of ThisFunktional.com, talk with actress Bailey Tippen who can be seen most recently on Tyler Perry’s Hit Netflix series BEAUTY IN BLACK, now streaming on Netflix. The new series follows two women on very different life trajectories on a collision course toward each other. Taylor Polidore Williams plays Kimmie, who struggles to make ends meet after her mother kicks her out, while Mallory — played by Crystle Stewart — finds success running her own business. Eventually, they find themselves entangled in each other’s lives. Set in Atlanta, the story brings together a wealthy Black family atop a hair care dynasty and an exotic dancer caught up in the seedy underbelly of a famed Magic City strip club BEAUTY IN BLACK features Tippen as Sylvie, Tippen’s portrayal of Sylvie plays an important role in the drama. BEAUTY IN BLACK has been renewed for a third and final season. Bailey Tippen is a singer, dancer, and emerging DJ. She is also pursuing her passion behind the camera with ambitions to produce and direct. Some of Tippen’s roles include: Klina “Tina” on STARZ’s acclaimed series “BMF” executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson Megan on BET+’s First Wives Club  Astra on DC’s “Legends of Tomorrow” (CW) and Constantine A performer since the age of five, Tippen has always balanced artistry and advocacy.
